1. In Dahon factory, all the folding bikes are 95% semi-finished products. Some of the parts need to install by customers or bike store (such as handlebars, pedals, seats, etc.).
2. After installation of Step 1, customers must inspect the bike to avoid the screw loosening or installation error causing any body damage and endangering personal safety.
²If the customer requests to do the adjustment and oiling service for the bike before the delivery, the customers may need to pay the service charge around HKD100. For more information, please contact customer service.
Pedal installation
There are two sides of the pedal, left and right. When installing the left side pedal, it should rotate counterclockwise, the right side should clockwise.
²We will not be liable if the buyer installs any crankset or pedal by themselves and causing damage.
Derailleur adjustment
All factory bikes are initial adjustments, due to bumps in the transportation process, it may appear offset problems that need to be fine-tuned.
²DAHON bikes are coming in standard version of front brake on left-hand side, the rear brake on the right-hand side. Please contact our customer service if you wish a switch.
